The Cayman New Resident was created by Joanna Boxall who was born and raised in the Cayman Islands. She runs the company with a phenominal team of people who are passionate about the Island. After eight years in print the New Resident is now over 300 pages in size and is the undisputed "bible" for both people moving to the Cayman Islands and for existing residents. They also have a second magazine called Good Taste - Cayman's definitive food, wine and restaurant guide. It features over 90% of Cayman's top restaurants and is considered to be the most comprehensive guide available for restaurants, bars, cafes and even event planning in Cayman. Joanna Boxall was born and raised in Grand Cayman. After Catholic School here and boarding school in England, she gained her BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science at King's College, London University. The tremendous growth in Cayman through the 1980's and 90's encouraged her to found New Resident in 2003.
Charles Grover was born and brought up in England, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Engineering and Business Studies. Before coming to Cayman, in 2005, he worked as a European marketing director for an American software company. His hobbies include sailing, diving, tennis and, the not so compatible with Cayman, climbing, skiing and trekking.
