Welcome to the Cayman Islands information website for moving, working and living in the Cayman Islands - brought to you by the publishers of the Cayman Resident magazine. It is a fabulous resource if you are looking for information on Grand Cayman, Little Cayman or Cayman Brac and are considering moving to our beautiful Islands.

"I have continued to use the website and magazine website since I arrived in Cayman in 2010 and recommend that everyone keeps a copy close by, as it is the most comprehensive guide for living and working in the Cayman Islands." (His Excellency The Governor, Mr Duncan Taylor, CBE - November 2011)

This website and especially the magazine, The Resident, which you will find for free everywhere on the Island, is an invaluable information guide to everything you might need to know about setting up and adjusting to life in the Cayman Islands.

"The quality and information in the Resident is excellent. It is the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide available for new people coming to Cayman and for existing residents living and working in the Cayman Islands. (Premier of the Cayman Islands, the Honourable McKeeva Bush)

It contains 320 pages of information to help you select a school for your children, understand immigration in the Cayman Islands, import your pets, buy a car, find a home, set up your utilities and all that goes with finding a new home; then when you are ready to explore, it will help you locate good restaurants and bars, find fun and exciting things to do and become a part of the local community.

Unlike other websites about the Cayman Islands, the Resident is written and continuously updated by a team of local Cayman residents. We don't joke about that, everything in this website is current and up to date, and we are a highly respected magazine because of it. The Resident gives you accurate, detailed and unbiased information on real estate in Cayman, living in the Cayman Islands, finding jobs on Grand Cayman, relocating to Cayman, even the cost of living in the Cayman Islands. Absolutely everything about relocating to the Cayman Islands, living in the Cayman Islands and working in the Cayman Islands.

If you want to know more about the bar and restaurant scene in Cayman look for a copy of our sister magazine Good Taste or visit our website. It lists all  Grand Cayman Restaurants and it gives you a great insight into what dining out in the Cayman Islands is like. It is packed full of photos, menus, maps, detailed descriptions, recommendations and other facts about Cayman's amazing restaurant, bar and dining scene. We highly recommend it.

If you want a more detailed tour guide of the Cayman Islands then look out for a copy of the Explore magazine. This magazine and website (to be launched in January 2012) provide lots of information about things to do in the Cayman Islands, tours, free stuff, activities, history, culture and much more. You can pick up free copies at the airport, car rental agencies, hotels, condos, supermarkets and many other locations around the Island.

Whether you are coming to Cayman for a limited time or to become a permanent resident, we hope that this website will help you to enjoy our way of life and integrate with our very special community, the people of the Cayman Islands.
