Notes about ordering a copy of the 2010 New Resident magazine:
Ordering a physical copy of the magazine If you are actually moving to Cayman we recommend you order a physical copy of the magazine. Among other things you will need the very detailed maps contained in it to work out where you want to live and how close the different districts are to where you will work. The magazine is free but we charge you for the postage from Cayman. Alternatively call the company you will be working for or a real estate agent and ask them to send you a copy. They all know about New Resident, most of them send it out as a matter of course, and would probably be more than happy to mail or courier you a copy if you asked them. For St.Mathews University students you will be given a copy at your admissions briefing when you arrive in Cayman.
If you order a copy of the magazine and would like to see the PDF as well (no charge) then please email and let us know. We will be happy to send it to you so you can get started. Incidentally, we always confirm your magazine order via email.
Ordering PDF copy of the magazine The quality of the PDF is very good, though obviously not quite as good as the printed version, but maps, tables and photos are of a reasonably high quality.
Please note: The 2010 issue of the magazine is now available as a PDF. The 2010 New Resident magazine is 268 pages (34MB) so we will send you a link (via SendSpace.com) which you can then download. You will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (9.0) to open and view the PDF file.
When you order a copy of the PDF we will first verify your payment with Paypal and then we manually send you the link. Please allow a minimum of one working day for us to process your order and send you the link - especially if you order over the weekend.
